At Healing Touch Massage we are pleased to be able to offer our clients a personalised treatment plan to meet their current needs during their menopause journey. Our range of Reflexology for Menopause and Massage for Menopause treatments are designed to support you holistically, emotionally and physically.
Reflexology for Menopause
Following a detailed consultation we will discuss your symptoms, past and present, to really tailor each treatment to meet your current needs. We can discuss any lifestyle changes and life focus which may also benefit you. Working on the reflex map for the entire body we aim to calm the mind and reduce anxiety.
Symptoms can include:
*Hot flushes
*Sleep disturbance
*Anxiety/ low moods
*Weight gain
*Low libido
*Irritability
*Brain Fog/ lack concentration
*Joint pain/ aches
*Hair loss
*and many many more.

As with any treatment the effects are cumulative and the best results may be seen from regular appointments. It is believed you will start to notice improvements after the first 4-6 treatments so we recommend booking these at weekly or fortnightly intervals, followed by monthly top-ups. We do understand this is not always possible due to financial restrictions and busy lifestyles, so book at intervals which are manageable and suit you best. Even monthly treatments can be beneficial. If appointments are based further apart it may just take a little longer to notice changes but that is absolutely fine. You will need to make a commitment to reflexology treatments to see the full effect of how you will benefit.
Studies have shown that reflexology can help reduce many of the symptoms experienced by women during this time including: sleep disorders (7) and fatigue (5), hot flushes and vasomotor problems (7), depression (9) and improving quality of life (8).
